Many of you moms have already tried the new Always Infinity pads, since they were featured as popular samples in the last few months.  I was able to test them out myself, and found the material to be remarkably different from regular pads, even when just opening the package.

The Always Infinity is a new kind of women’s pad that is made with Infinicel.  Now on paper, Infinicel is a material that absorbs 10 times its own weight.  But in real life, this material is just about as close to feeling like sponge cake as you can find in something that is NOT actually a sponge cake!  All joking aside, the texture and consistency of the Always Infinity pads are so spongy that they immediately spark curiosity about what it’s made of, followed by the questions of “Is this pad going to be comfortable to wear?” and “Is this pad still going to be absorbent?”.

After testing out the Always Infinity pads myself, I can answer both of the above questions with an emphatic “Yes”!  It is so light that it weighs almost nothing, yet is more absorbent than pads several times its thickness.  The Always Infinity pads are less bulky than normal pads, and although they have the thickness of a liner, absorb like an ultra.  There were no leaks, most likely due to its grooves and channels in the pattern of the pad.  I am happily pregnant now, but would most definitely be switching to Always Infinity if I wasn’t.

The Venus Week: Discover the Powerful Secret of Your Cycle...at Any AgeAlways has also teamed up with Dr. Rebecca Booth, an OB/GYN doctor and author of The Venus Week: Discover the Powerful Secret of Your Cycle At Any Age.  Her book teaches women about the week during their cycle that they can “look better, feel better, and respond better to the world around them," Booth says. "Their hair is glossier, their skin glows, and the men in their lives (or at the local Starbucks counter) suddenly seem very appealing."

Anything that can help women to better understand their cycles and use them to their advantage to feel great is worth a read in our book!

While I’m wearing this pad, it’s almost as if I’m not wearing anything. It’s very comfortable and I’ve never had any problem with leaks. This pad does such a good job of wicking away the flow that you are in danger of not knowing when it is time to change. How can something this thin be so absorbent? The science behind this pads performance won them a prestigious Edison Award.
